About the Founder

“I’m Tom Dickson a PhD student at the Uni. of NSW, specialising in the “use of music as a sleep aid”. I’ve combined my music psychology research, and app development skills, with a professional background in classical and modern music. Drawing on these resources, I built a world-first sleep app that creates its very own, automatically generated, relaxing music. It’s scientifically designed to aid sleep. I made it genuinely customisable. I wanted people to be able to choose the style of music they love, the sounds and instruments they relax by, and never be frustrated by boring repetition. It was designed to lull them into relaxing sleep with music they enjoy, so they are alert and fully functioning the following day. I am keen to make this app the best it can be, and give people real-world solutions to insomnia and daytime sleepiness problems.”
